This socket is designed so you can slip it on the end of a crankshaft and using a 1/2 ratchet or breaker bar turn the engine assembly over.  It has a 1.000 threaded snout and knurled nut that accepts our degree wheel for your finding of TDC.  This tool when used with our degree wheel can be removed and replaced on the crankshaft so you can make changes to your gear drive, cam timing, etc. without fear of loosing your position.  The socket is made of steel and black oxide finished for long life.
