When we started designing our piston vise we wanted a vise that was rock solid when locked up, EASY to use and adjust, and reasonably priced.  After researching the vises on the market we came up with a design that eliminates the shortcomings found in other vises.  On our vise the clamping of the piston is totally independent of any angle adjustment.  Our vise will accommodate pistons up to 4.700 it is designed so you can do work on the top or bottom; it will also accommodate pistons with long skirts.
