This tool was inspired by the late great Smokey Yunick, and later modified by Harold Long of Long Engine Systems. What it does is locate three indicators with extensions in direct line with the center of the piston, and both lifters so that you can see exactly what the relation to each other is in actuality. It is clearanced .900 for domed pistons and it has a threaded hole for a setscrew and nut for use when you want a positive TDC stop. Made of billet aluminum and anodized for durability. We make several models and the Big Block Chevy has splayed lifter indicators so they are in alignment with the lifter bores. Indicators and extensions not included.
