The air hold fitting has but one purpose, to pressurize the cylinder.  In doing so you can change valve springs with the heads on.  Simply screw the appropriate size fitting into the spark plug hole, attach an air fitting, and connect to shop air.  We make 2 sizes that cover most all applications.
