We have designed our deck height/squareness fixture to be simple to use.  Simply select which standard 8", 9" or 10" and adjust the rear or right hand of the gauge to the pre-drilled indentation in the centerless ground bar.  By tightening the thumbscrew you have achieved rough size.  Now simply turn the adjusting screw behind the measuring ball to zero out the gauge.  You can check blocks for squareness.  Determine deck height and whether the block has been decked before.  8", 9", and 10" standards are included.  Does not include indicator.
